  Was really looking forward to this due to the good reviews. Huge let down. Started off with dirty soda glasses, flies everywhere(and yes I understand there will be a couple flies but no, this was tons of flies like trash nearby that was around for days flies), and a waitress with an attitude about changing the sodas. Then we order, everything costs extra, 1.50 extra for fries with a 10.00 mini burger, and started seeing food come out for others that arrived after us, silly small portions, even buns are smaller. Then we wait, and wait, and wait, 45 min later still waiting. Finally a group of 8 that showed up 15 min after us got served. Last straw, we left. Dont waste your time at this tourist trap.

  Drove by on a sunny Saturday afternoon in August and saw the signs for Homemade Cobbler and Elk Burgers. Just had to stop on my way back out (from Mount St. Helens)! It was crowded, but the staff were friendly and efficient. I ordered to go, and was surprised at how fast it was ready. The food did not disappoint, and I enjoyed the views as I was waiting.

  Just stopped for the cobbler. The cobbler is nothing to rave about. Have had much better. We were surprised at the flavor choices, but disappointed upon getting the two we ordered.
  
  Here is what you get.... Warm pie filling topped with the square of cake. Yes, I mean cake! . Eat in Castle Rock. 15 min from here at I-5

  Great food and atmosphere. Given the opportunity, go there for clam chowder. It was unbelievable!! The elk burgers were lean and very full of flavor. The beer battered fries didn't even need ketchup. Definitely a must stop in your way our from Mount Saint Helens.
